Ecompx.com is a Wiki for Norwegian Businesses

I worked on this innovative startup project, led by a talented solo developer who faced challenges with initial traction and go-to-market (GTM) strategy. The goal of my involvement was to generate initial traction and explore funding opportunities.

Key areas I focused on throughout my engagement with the startup include:

  • Messaging & Pitch Deck: Developed concept messaging for the website and built a pitch deck from scratch to attract investors.

  • Investor Outreach: Compiled a database of investors and executed cold outreach campaigns on LinkedIn and via email, generating initial responses.

  • SEO Optimization: Enhanced meta titles and descriptions with targeted calls-to-action, leading to improved SEO metrics, as shown by Google Search Console:

    • Average Clickthrough Rate (CTR): Increased from 1.1% (July 20 - August 7, 2024) to 1.4% (August 11 - 22, 2024).

    • Average Position: Improved from 25.6 to 20.8 over the same period.

    • Website Traffic Boost: Strategic SEO adjustments led to over 10,000 monthly visits post-launch.

  • Product Optimization Plans: Prepared action plans to build analytics funnels and tools, as well as a plan for re-developing the product to improve user experience and search engine optimization.
